One Week Later… Returning Home.

Check out the full post here:

Yesterday marked a week that I have been back in the City. It is strange.  I went to lay in the sun and, as I put on my sunscreen, I noticed it was in Spanish. You see, my earlier posts were all about the difficulty associated with becoming a real person in a new country, a new city, and a new language. But after four months of living in this new place, I feel like I started to become that person. Familiar with the cafes, with the people, and I knew my way around. I had begun to find my place in Madrid. I was warned that just as this feeling of comfort begins to form that it would be time to leave. They were right.
